The playgroup
meets from October - April at the library, then continues on
at the Wee Play Children's Park throughout the late spring, summer
and early fall
Come & Play, a
joint effort between the Howland Public Library and the Wee Play
Community Project, has been a great success! Join us in the Community
Room from 9:45 - 11:30 as it transforms into a large playroom
where moms, dads, caregivers and kids can meet to play and socialize.
The purpose is to provide a fun destination during inclement
weather for active play. Come & Play is open to all
babies, toddlers, and young children accompanied by an adult.
There is no cost. There is no registration required--come and
go as you please! Come & Play is intended to be an
open play date and doesn't have activities planned. As the group
evolves, more structured play dates may be in the future--or
maybe it will just be fun to have a place to run around like
a three-year old! Having a place to go and meet friends is a
great place to start.

the Library and more specifically to the Children's Section towards
